I Bring You: A Scanner Darkly
This is just a little somethin' somethin' of "A Scanner Darkly", that movie I saw at IndieLisboa last week, where after shooting real live actors they drew upon them using a thecnique called Rotoscopia. Doesn't it look awesome?! Richard Linklater showing once again he's one of the most ingenious directors in the biz.
Alec Baldwin Who Else?!
This is Alec Baldwin's monologue in James Foley's "Glengarry Glen Ross"(1992). Written by David Mamet, this film has one of the most astonishing casts ever put toghether: Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Alan Arkin, Alec Baldwin, Ed Harris, Kevin Spacey e Jonathan Pryce, all at the top of their games, what more to say...

Kill Bill vol.2

The Bride: Looked dead, didn't I? But I wasn't. But it wasn't from lack of trying, I can tell you that. Actually, Bill's last bullet put me in a coma - A coma I was to lie in for four years. When I woke up, I went on what the movie advertisements refer to as a 'roaring rampage of revenge.' I roared. And I rampaged. And I got bloody satisfaction. I've killed a hell of a lot of people to get to this point, but I have only one more. The last one. The one I'm driving to right now. The only one left. And when I arrive at my destination, I am gonna kill Bill.

The Endorsment: Rage

By Scott Raab
Fuck you. That's right -- fuck you. I've got your anger-management technique right here, dangling. Check it out -- and while you're down there, kiss my crack.
I'm sorry -- did I say that out loud? Really loud? Tough shit, dickweed. I do a lot of screaming, mostly profane. First off, I live and drive in north Jersey. Number two, my wife's a woman. Three, my idiot dog barks if a squirrel farts. Plus -- I gotta tell ya -- rage makes me feel so alive.
I don't only scream, of course. I like to hammer the phone down into the cradle. I like to slam a door so hard that pictures fall off the wall. In quiet moments, I seethe. My son I handle with kid gloves. "I got all the spelling words right," he'll tell me. "Whaddaya want," I'll say, "a medal?" I sleep angry.
Without rage, I'm dead. I can't recommend it to everyone; maybe, like perfect pitch, you either have it or you don't. I'm not sure it even has much to do with New Jersey or my wife and dog. I blame mortality -- death itself. Sweet deal: Do everything right and die. Even better: Know it every second of your life.
Yo, God: Fuck you.

Feathers: I thought you were never going to say it.
John T. Chance: Say what?
Feathers: That you love me.
John T. Chance: I said I'd arrest you.
Feathers: It means the same thing, you know that.

Mr. Scruff - Get A Move On
June 1999 saw the highly talented Andy Carthy, the man behind Mr. Scruff’s mask, release the hit album "Keep It Unreal". The record had some good songs but its success was mostly due to the viciously addictive "Get A Move On". With a slick jazzy vibe and delicious vinyl sound, the song was soon a usual presence on the speakers of every cool joint on the planet.
