Haiku poetry; the assignement.

Blistering light blinds,
towering upon mortals,
man and beast alike.

Certain summer nights
of quiet unfaithful stars
linger on and still.

Holding hands alone,
cursing with clean loud anger
the night's lying moan.

Silence eased by calls,
playing echoes and pouring
marbles from the walls.

Walking the fence line,
searching dreams on either side.
No cost, not a dime.
